Playing Catch Up.

Ok, so clearly I have not been keeping up with this as well as I should be. So I'm going to play a little game of catch up and resolve to do better in the future (we'll see how that goes).

So more on little baby cousin RaeAnn Marie! We've had fun getting to know her over the past few weeks. I see a future of fun play dates for her and Naomi when they get a wee bit older. For now though, she's doing what new babies do best, being stinkin' cute, and here are some pictures to prove it:

Then there are these CUTE sweaters that my mom's co-worker Bonnie knit, what an awesome surprise it was to receive these!!! A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E:

The purple sweater is my absolute favorite

The turquoise sweater has Peter Rabbit buttons!

The matching hat was a little too big for Naomi...worked out nicely for me!

Let's not forget Naomi's 4 month old pictures:

(Quite the difference from her 4 WEEK photos)

We introduced Naomi to rice cereal recently, that was fun (messy). Also, we've noticed she really seems to know and respond to her name now. Pretty cool if you ask me.

My first Mother's Day was wonderful. We had dinner at our house with Adam's brother and sister-in-law, baby RaeAnn, his mom and sister Anna. Adam surprised me with a nice "first Mother's Day" gift too, a necklace I've been wanting, so sweet!

I know I mentioned before how Naomi has started squealing...well now she has started two new "noises". Instead of blowing raspberries, she does a quick spurt of air (combined often with spit). It kind of sounds like a cross between a cough and a sneeze. It's quite comical. She also has started grunting. It looks like she's trying to fill her pants - her face turns red and everything...but she's just doing it for her own enjoyment. Sounds like it hurts her throat!

I know I'm probably missing something, but this seems to be a good summary of the goings-on that I've missed.
