Splish Splash!

Our friend Susan gave us this really great inflatable bathtub / mini pool. I got it out a few days ago to help Naomi while she's learning to sit up. I put her in it (without any water) with some toys. That way if she falls over she won't bonk her head or anything. It's been working really well and Naomi loves it! Sunday, we put the pool in the back yard and put a little bit of water in it. Naomi was very intrigued with the water and just sort of stared at it. She played with her rubber duckies a bit. Adam and I tried to teach her how to splash, but she didn't catch on. Today, we put her in her pool in the yard again. This time we put some more water in it. She was playing with her toys and accidentally splashed when she was excitedly flailing her arms. It was on after that! She LOVED splashing and that's all she seemed to do the rest of the time she was in the pool. She splashed and splashed and splashed. Then she realized that splashing made waves that made her toys moved, so she splashed some more. Then she started kicking and creating more of a splash. It was really quite cute, and very entertaining for Adam and I!
